Please note that our dining services operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Our team consists of independent contractors, availability may be limited. To ensure your preferred experience, we strongly recommend booking in advance. Guests must add the selection(s) to their cart when booking, however, Meraki Escape does not schedule any experiences, or collect payment.  All services are scheduled directly through our team members and paid directly to them.

Indulge in a romantic candlelit evening under the stars at your private mountain cabin, as our professional chef creates an unforgettable dining experience just for you.

Waterfall Dining Experience

Indulge in a multisensory adventure that transcends the ordinary dining experience with our gourmet culinary event set in an enchanting outdoor location. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, let the soothing sounds of the forest and babbling creeks create a symphony that complements your exquisite meal. 


Our professional chef will meticulously craft a menu that is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate, using only the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients. Each dish is designed to tantalize your taste buds with innovative flavors and textures, while the aromatic scents wafting through the air further enhance your sensory journey.


This experience is offered at our Forestsong Waterfall for a 12:00pm lunch or picnic service or a 5:00pm dinner service.

Begin your stay at Meraki Escape with an indulgent welcome— a handcrafted charcuterie board elegantly arranged and waiting in your cabin. Thoughtfully curated with 2–3 premium meats, 2–3 artisanal cheeses, a selection of gourmet crackers, and a variety of decadent accompaniments, it’s the perfect way to ease into your getaway.

 

Whether you’re here for romance or rejuvenation, allow this culinary touch to elevate your arrival—no need to lift a finger, just relax and savor the experience.

Forage to Plate Dining Experience 

Engaging Educational Experience with Edible Herbs of Appalachia! Join us for a hike around Meraki Escape that culminates in a unique “Wild” dining experience by the Forestsong waterfall. This educational adventure will cover foraging tips, Leave No Trace principles, and a hands-on cooking class. We will wrap up our experience with a “Wild” meal for a unique dining experience.

"Wild" Cocktail Class

Engaging and Practical Experience with Edible Herbs of Appalachia. Join us for an interactive session where we will forage on Meraki Escape's property for local herbs to craft unique wild cocktail recipes. This hands-on class promises a lot of fun as participants get “behind the bar” to create their own drinks. I envision hosting this class near the waterfall, utilizing my mobile backcountry bar along with my cocktail sets for guests. Alcohol will be included in the service.

Edible/Medicinal Herb Walk & Class

Join us for another engaging and practical experience with the herbs of Appalachia. This hands-on hiking adventure will take place on Meraki Escape's property, where we will discuss, taste, and explore the benefits that herbs can provide in both culinary and medicinal contexts. Additionally, this class will cover other significant herbs (not found on the property) that play an important role in the history, culture, and development of our Appalachian Mountains. This hike includes a homemade herbal tea and “wild” snacks. The experience may also be held offsite at another location.

Personal Chef Romantic Breakfast

Pamper yourself with a chef's breakfast at your next Escape! Wake up to the smell of a Brunch board full of farm fresh cooked eggs, bacon, Belgian waffles, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, honeys, jams, soft cheeses, and chocolates. Served with orange juice or mimosas, and herb water. Modifications can be made to fit you and your partner's taste.  Breakfast is prepared in your luxury cabin and served at the dining table or outdoor bistro table.
